Dr. Carlone's Story
Dr. Carlone attended the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 2013. Following graduation, he moved south to the Tri-Cities region of Tennessee and has been practicing there and Greeneville ever since. Dr. Carlone loved East Tennessee from the moment he arrived and never left, considering it home.
Born and raised in the small town of Marathon, NY, Dr. Carlone attended his initial schooling there, graduating Valedictorian of his class in 2004. He then went to St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY to complete his undergraduate studies and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, graduating summa cum laude in 2008.
Dr. Carlone is a big believer in the importance of continuing education and has attended numerous seminars both locally and across the country with his staff. A good practitioner is always learning as well as those supporting. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the local First District Dental Society. By strengthening his core knowledge of general dentistry and progressing with the rapid pace of dental technology, Dr. Carlone ensures that he can provide the best care for his patients with treatment best suited for their individual needs and desires.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Carlone has a passion for aviation. He flew his first solo at the Elizabethton Municipal Airport in 2013. Dr. Carlone then went on to achieve his Private Pilot License, his Instrument Rating, and ultimately his Commercial Pilot License. He has flown across the country as well as in Alaska and Canada. He is a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, the Experimental Aircraft Association, and was recently inducted into the Tri-Cities chapter of the Quiet Birdmen. Through the EAA, Dr. Carlone enjoys flying kids as a Young Eagles Pilot and giving presentations on aviation. Just as it is in dentistry, a good pilot is always learning!
When not at the office or the airport hanger, Dr. Carlone can be found cheering on his favorite NASCAR driver, Chase Elliot, at Bristol Motor Speedway.
